scheduled for
Saturday, October 11th, 2008 for the “Fall” Run
Saturday, November 1st , 2008 for the “After Halloween” Run
Saturday, February 14th, 2009 for the “Valentine’s Day” Run
Saturday, April 4th, 2009 for the “Easter” Run
START TIME: 10:00 A.M. SHARP at the
Elks Hall, Blairmore!

Here are
the details:
• 2 and 5K route! No entry fees! No pre-registration. Just come, sign a
waiver and enter your name for some GREAT post run prize draws.
• NOTE: There is no volunteer traffic control - you are responsible for
your own well-being!
• Finish times will be recorded…in your mind. The large time display
clock will be running for those interested in times!
• Bring your own hydration – no water stations on course!
• Join us post run for snacks and prizes!

GYM WALK – Parents and Tots
Location: MD McEachern Gym
Days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Dates: October 6th, 2008 to May 1st, 2009
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
No Charge!
Here is a great opportunity to exercise by walking indoors for the
cooler months. Just bring your walking shoes and walk!!! Strollers and

Partner & Tot: Walking children to age 4, a structured program based on
developing physical, motor skills, thinking abilities, self-confidence
and social interaction.
STARTING
SEPTEMBER 8TH TO NOVEMBER 27TH
Monday & Wednesday 9:30-10:00 a.m. or 10:05-10:35 a.m.
Tuesday 4:30-5:00 p.m.
1x/wk $37.50 12 week session 2x/wk $75.00 12 week session
GYMFIT: Classes designed for everyone’s
participation ages 5 and up. Conditioning, strength training and
learning proper technique for basic gymnastic skills.
Monday 5:05 -5:50 p.m.
Tuesday 5:05- 5:50 p.m.
Thursday 5:05-5:50 p.m.
1x/wk $50.00 12 wk session 2x/wk $100.00 12 wk session
Classes commence September 8th -
Registration must be paid to secure your spot.
ADVANCED GYMNASTICS
Testing Dates: September 3rd and 4th.
FREE!! Attendance at one testing session is required to register in the
following: Please discuss attendance with coach. Based on national
Gym-Apt, LEAP and Canadian Provincial Program testing for athletes. Once
tested you will have a choice of program best suited for your child.
Advanced - Athlete and parent commitment includes participation in
competitions in Alberta and BC, camps, fundraising for equipment and
hosting a future CPP level competition.
Advanced Athletes: Train a full year (38 WEEKS STARTING SEPTEMBER 8TH -
JUNE 18TH (NO CLASSES CHRISTMAS WEEK AND SEMESTER BREAK). Camps and
breaks TO BE DETERMINED with minimum to maximum training hours depending
on the athlete. Talk to coach for information. MINIMUM Numbers apply.
Pre-Comp: Ages 4-6 Wednesday 4:30-6:30
p.m., a fun but athlete minded program for kids working towards future
performance and competition. $400.00 (2 payments of $200) MINIMUM OF 6
REQUIRED.
Gymtricks: Tuesday 6:00-8:00 p.m. ages 7
and up, learn gymnastic tricks and tumbling combinations. Must also
attend a Gymfit class. $400.00 (2 payments of $200) MINIMUM OF 6
REQUIRED.
Competitive Program: Depending on athlete
ability extra classes and additional fees will be added for competitive
season. Plus: Alberta Gymnastics and athlete fees are not included in
regular fees. Talk to coach about deadlines. Pre-Comp & Gymtricks
athlete fees $63.15, competitive athlete fees $159.30. Full year fees
include camps, and regular training time, paid in September 2008.
